OUR STORY
As a mother of three, the weight of relying solely on family support for childcare began to feel heavy. Seeking relief for my parents, who graciously shouldered the full-time care of our little ones, my husband and I set out on a journey to find the perfect nanny. The process quickly went from overwhelming, to stressful, leaving us feeling indecisive amidst all of the options and considerations.
As we talked to more and more nannies, we listened to their wonderful stories of caring for children, encountering many that were undeniably talented and worthy of meaningful work. Deep down, I knew that I wanted to help them find it.
After I began matching some of our first nannies with other families, I discovered an unexpected passion in facilitating these connections. Referrals from other nannies and families poured in, revealing a significant demand for a service that was started with the intent of bridging the gap between my family and what I consider a “top-notch” nanny.
After 9 years of working through a corporate ladder, my husband and I made the decision to craft a plan for me to transition into a role that allows me to spend more time with our kids. With my first-hand experience as a working mom, having traveled and covered a third of the country, I understand the stresses you face and the sacrifices you make when your childcare plans fall through or find it hard to cover your irregular schedule.
After months of meeting nannies and families, it became clear to me that this was my calling—a role that not only aligned with my passion for helping others, but also afforded me the opportunity to spend more time with my children. In life, some people are called to be doctors, lawyers, professors, or even corporate executives. I discovered my calling is connecting and supporting families in their childcare journeys. This passion fuels my commitment to providing your family with quality childcare services, where I’m able to pour my heart into every match.

MY QUESTION FOR YOU IS, WHAT IS YOUR CALLING?
At Lone Star Nannies, we use our calling to help you pursue yours.
Howdy!
I'M PAIGE BURLEW, THE FOUNDER OF LONE STAR NANNIES.
MY JOURNEY BEGAN IN COLLEYVILLE, TEXAS (WHERE I WAS RAISED)
I moved up north out of the Lone Star State to attend Oklahoma State University where I received my education and found my better half (and my accounting tutor). After some persuasion, he moved back to DFW to join me in starting his own career. Let’s be honest though, it didn't take much convincing because…well, it's Texas!
When we first moved back to Texas, we enjoyed the uptown Dallas and downtown Fort Worth lifestyles, finding it hard to decide which we liked more. But after our first child was born, we staked out our plot in Argyle, Texas, where we began to build our wonderful family. We now have 3 young children and embrace all of the joy and chaos that it provides us.
At Lone Star Nannies, we're excited to build a relationship with your family - and learn about your joy and chaos!
